Rain, Fog, Sunshine and a Bear!

Interesting drive to Creston today along Hwy 3A on the east shore of Kootenay Lake.  Rain, fog, sunshine and a bear!

This much snow seems early this year

The quaint little spot of Sirdar

This is the bear - I realized after I took the picture and looked up that I had got him by chance in the picture!

Coming into Creston - not a great shot, but was fascinated how it came out

The colours are so beautiful now!

Driving To Creston, BC

What a beautiful drive to Creston today along the eastern shore of Kootenay Lake, BC! Took these photos through the window as we were driving, so if you see reflections, that's why. If we stopped every time I wanted a picture, we'd never get to town! LOL!!

Speed Signs and Highway 3A

If you travel Highway 3A along the East Shore of Kootenay Lake, BC and follow the speed signs, not only will you arrive safely, but you will definitely have time to enjoy the views!

Looking For Lunch

Bears are another wild thing that is common to see this time of year on Hwy 3A.  A mother bear and two cubs were wandering alongside the highway. I was only able to get a picture of the mother and one cub.  They were probably only about 5 ft from our vehicle and we did not want to upset a mother bear, so did not hang around long!!
